House plants

The semi ugly pot
my color
almost there
Tada Okay the ribbon is kind of wild
I have some houseplants that needed repotting. I like the nice expensive pots you know like the ceramic or the pretty glazed ones. Well, we all know I am thrifty. I buy the 2-3 dollar pot in the size I would like and then spray paint whatever color I choose. My outdoor pots I spray painted a copper color. What is so funny about this is that I have gotten a lot of compliments on my pots and everyone wants to know where I get them from. Ha! Ha!

  5. That's a really great idea, those same old, same old terra cotta colors get old quick and the colored ceramics can get pricey! thanks for sharing- thinking about colors now- and maybe a stenciled design...

  14. What a beautiful makeover- I love bright colors. I found some really cute bright colored planters at a local dollar store a few weeks ago (it's one of those places where most stuff is $1, but not all- I was thankful the ones I found were!). I bought 4 in different colors to put out on my front porch this summer!
